Mental Health Awareness Week 2018

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week.

Stress has been chosen by the Mental Health Foundation as their Mental Health illness to raise awareness of this year.  Stress is one of leading causes of absence from work in the UK and sufferers should be supported by their employers when experiencing stress.

At Kaleidoscope we work hard to de-stigmatise mental health conditions and work together to educate ourselves about the various types of mental illness. This week we will be hosting a ‘Curry and Chaat’ in the central office to raise awareness of different mental health conditions and to give our staff the opportunity to talk about mental health.

At Kaleidoscope, we are aware that 1 in 4 people will suffer with a mental health problem at some point during their lives. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it. For more information on Mental Health or to get help and guidance for yourself or someone else, please go to:
