In an effort to cut drug related crime the Government has introduced a £148 million package. The system wide approach will increase funding for drug treatment and recovery to help break the cycle of substance misuse and offending. Birchwhood Residential Centre is a medically managed detox facility accepting referrals from across the UK and this funding can make tier 4 interventions more accessible to those in your community.
Birchwood is positioned to accept cases with complex social needs and provides DRR and ATR inpatient support. We work closely with probation services and the criminal justice system to ensure residents can achieve sustained recovery and reintegrate with their community successfully.

Birchwood is a medically managed treatment centre that delivers exceptional services to those in need of in-patient care. All interventions are supported by a round the clock team of dedicated clinical staff.
Our facility includes DDA rooms for those with complex needs. We offer single occupancy rooms to both men and women.
Our Mission
We value our clients as individuals and consider all their circumstances when assessing them for placement and recommending programmes to meet their needs. As well as alcohol and illicit drug detoxification, we provide a comprehensive holistic rehab offering that addresses mental, emotional and physical health.
